POLARES 2.0 Electrical tomography makes use of innovative technology based on Alternate Current (AC) to simultaneously measure and display all survey parameters: soil resistivity, current, voltage, self potential, standard deviations and induced polarization. Always one of the flagships of PASI, water level testing devices are piezometric level meters for liquids (usually water), intended for quick measurements in wells and tanks by a single operator who can easily operate on the surface. This portable instrument, easy-to-use and to maintain, is ideal for monitoring changes in groundwater level within piezometers. They are often used as a first control downstream of dams, in the areas surrounding landfills and in areas where there is strong groundwater extraction.
A portable instrument similar to that of a water level indicator but characterised by an optical probe that signals the presence of a pollutant (usually a hydrocarbon) that usually floats on the surface of the groundwater or is deposited below it.
Depending on the different applications, rebound hammers are divided into:
- Type N rebound hammers (for concrete and stone rock): Impact energy 2.207 Nm
- Type L rebound hammers (for friable rock, concrete with thickness <10cm, paper and film reels): Impact energy 0.735 Nm

By measuring the velocity of ultrasound propagation in a material, we obtain information on its density and its elastic properties. The velocity value, closely linked to the quality and strength of the material, makes it possible to define the concrete in terms of uniformity of the material, note the presence of voids and honeycombing, assess any damage caused by fire or frost, calculate the modulus of elasticity (thanks to transducers in P & S waves) and the resistance of the material.
Through the use of "PULSE ECHO" mono and multi-channel technology, tomographic 2D and 3D images are obtained on concrete and rock elements. The B-scan scanning mode of the pulse-echo transducers provides an accurate cross-section of the scanned surface in real time. This methodology is recommended especially for finding voids, delaminations and for measuring the thickness of the concrete beyond the rebar layer. Excellent results even on fibre reinforced concrete or on concrete during curing (therefore in conditions of high humidity).
